So I was sitting around doing computer things and watching the news and the thought came to my mind that I was bored with this "reality" and wanted to leave. I felt a bit like I did one time when I was in a dream and decided to just stand up and walk out of it, thus waking up.
Thing is, it occurred to me that I didn't know what other "reality" I'd be going into.
Okay, I know (or do I?) that I'm presently in Reality and thus I can't just walk out of it. I'm probably a little under the effect of a few anime I've seen recently where the nature of reality is perhaps malleable or not what it appears. Really though, it is something of a question. If you figure out that you can "wake up" do you necessarily want to if you don't know what you're waking up to? Kinda suck to wake up and find out that I'm in some sort of hellish future prison, or about to die of something, or if I woke up in the "past" and it was during a time of extreme difficulty when I had no idea what to do.
Any thoughts?
