(no subject)
is the earth still moving at the normal speed? I feel as if it's going faster and faster.....life happens faster than I can keep up....
I've spent the last couple weeks saying goodbye to my church family at Urbancrest and my Cedarville friends, walking at my graduation, spending a week with my boyfriend (*grin*--sooooo much fun!), going to his graduation (commencement speaker: Chuck Norris--no joke!), stopping in TN to see some beloved Awana camp friends--staying up late with Elizabeth and Jenni!, and now I'm home, trying to settle back in to this routine.
I'm officially a college graduate, a responsible adult, finished with school forever (oh, wait....that's my job!). I'm home now, working a bit (hopefully more in the near future) and spending time with the family. July 10, my sister, my boyfriend, and I will be leaving for China. excitement abounds! we return July 28 and sometime early to mid August (hopefully I'll set a date within the next week) I'll be moving to Pennsylvania. I'm terrified, but oh so excited. This new time in my life holds so much promise!
Prayer requests:
--a place to live in PA. I hope to be able to live with a family at the church I'll be going to or house-sit for a missionary family in the area. I'm trusting God to provide, but there would be much peace of mind if I had that all worked out.
--I need a job! I've applied at many schools in the area, but I just feel so nervous about it. They start hiring next month, and I'll be leaving the month after that. It would be nice to have that worked out before I leave for China.
I think I'm outgrowing all this.....it may soon go away...I just can't bear the thought of giving up more of my past than I must.....so, perhaps nostalgia will keep this alive a while longer :)
