Summary: Jack and Allison try to come to terms with the DoD's decision.Jack Carter honestly didn’t want to end his and Allison’s relationship. He loved her too much to let her go. Why was he just supposed to let the DoD dictate they end their relationship? The sheriff had finally gotten to be with her after years of thinking they’d never be together.
Jack had freaked out a little about the possibility of marriage, but he could see it happening soon. He’d adopt Kevin and Jenna, and maybe he and Allison would have another baby. He was sure Zoe, Kevin, and Jenna would be happy about those plans. He was going to fight this.
Allison was angry, but she didn’t know what else to do. Could they appeal the decision? What would happen if they did and they still got the same result? She loved Jack. He had always been there for him. As much as she missed Nathan and her first husband, she considered Carter her kids’ father. Both adored him and she knew he felt the same way. It wasn’t fair that Beverly’s actions caused these events. She and Jack had been doing fine fixing Eureka’s issues! Who was the DoD to judge them? She would fight the ruling.
They weren’t going to give up until they won.
