When Fred takes her last breath, Wesley feels like his whole world has just ended. He’s never felt like this before.
Illyria keeps him busy, as does Wolfram and Hart, but the grief clings to Wes like it’s glued to him. He has dreams about the life he and Fred could have had together, and suffers nightmares about her death.
Cordy’s death had caused Angel to lock himself in his room for a week, but the vampire’s not grieving for his lost love like Wes is. They’re both grieving differently.
Wesley feels nothing but relief when he dies soon after.
