Wesley and Willow both know that they’re not right for each other. They’re lost. Fred and Tara will always be on their minds. Moving on has been a hard process.
When Wesley is with Willow, he forgets all about Fred for just a little while. It’s nice, even though the pain comes rushing back when Wes is alone.
Willow’s been dealing with Tara’s death for longer than Wes has, and she’s not grieving as much. She thinks Tara will be happy that Willow’s with her soul mate.
Wes and Willow are happy with each other, and that’s all that matters.
