“You want to hold her?” Peter asked Neal. He and Elizabeth had been the only ones to hold Katherine so far.
“Of course,” Neal answered. He was slightly terrified he would do something to hurt the baby, but the thought derailed as Peter placed the newborn in his hands.
“She loves her Uncle Neal already,” observed a tired and smiling Elizabeth when the baby let out a little noise.
“Casey’s beautiful.” Neal loved this little girl already. He had just nicknamed her. There was one thing Neal knew for certain about the Burkes.
He would do anything to protect them.
