technology

In another sign of the coming apocalypse, I have latched on to a new(ish) technology and can't seem to imagine life without it. (For those who don't know me, I STILL don't own my own TV and I prefer cooking on stoves to microwaves)

VOiP! this shit RULZ!! The voicemail options alone are worth it. You can configure this som'bitch however you want and save outgoing and incoming messages to your hard drive. So if you are out of town, you have a ready-made outgoing message you change to with one click of the mouse. And it comes with ALL the extra features that your regular phone company charges extra for, like call forwarding, caller ID, etc.

I can call europe for the same price of a local call, which is ...... FREE!!!!!! I can have multiple phone numbers all over the world so my friends can call me for free too!

Seriously, I've been with this company only a few weeks, and Bell South will NEVER hear from me again. I've had no complaints and don't expect to have any. Bell south has been trying for years to clean up the noise on my phone line, charging me every time for a service call, and failing miserably. And they vastly overcharge for their services.

It's even cheaper than basic local phone service. Genius, I tell you. I thought I'd share this with everyone.

(I am in no way affiliated with, nor have received compensation of any kind from, any service provider of VOiP. This is my own opinion.)
