Another weekend list, shot to hell...
Friday I was all wound up waiting for news on my mom's surgery, and I attributed the crappy way I was feeling to that combined with an allergy attack. By the time I left for home, I was shivering so uncontrollably that I could hardly walk or drive. Got into a hot bath, and then went to bed. Dad called while I was in the bath to say that mom's surgery had been moved from 3:30 to 5:30 (he couldn't have called at 4:00 and told me?) Chills, aches bad enough to make me head for the percoset, and sweats. Not allergies.
Mom's surgery went VERY well. She's still at the hospital (which is good, in my opinion), and they may end up sending her to a rehab center for physical therapy. We'll probably know today. I kind of hope they do.
Yesterday morning I decided to take my temperature. 103F. That's no allergy attack. :-) Took lots of advil, went back to bed.
Today is better, but still not myself. I may try *one* errand and see how it goes.
I'm tired of being sick all the time.
