Good grief I hurt...

I have biceps.  Who knew?  They're moderately unhappy with me.

Expanded version later, but here we go:

Snow tires are off the car.
Mountain laurels are sprayed - they're getting new leaves in addition to what I think are the flower buds.
Paint stripper tried, did a crappy job, jettisoned in favor of starting a deck replacement fund.
Pine tree cut down, hauled to the brush pile, and tops harvested for Viking butter churns.
An attempt was made to rake out the frontage.  That's going to be more involved than anticipated.  Pulled back to regroup and replan.
Not one big rock but TWO moved.  Casualties were minimal.  We need four or five more - I need to scout the property.
Completely forgot to look at the level on the garage doors.  Again.

Additionally, the backstop has been repaired, two of the bookcases went to a new home, the lawn was mowed, the sandbox was set up for the season, a bunch of things were planted, and the living room and dining room have been tidied and cleaned (although I still need to clean the dining room chandelier.)

My knotweed has sent up one feeler.  I'll take care of that this afternoon.  I want to know that I'm done with that stuff *before* I plant my marigolds.  Oh - and the dusty millers overwintered, which was a pleasant surprise.

In other news, for a variety of reasons too complicated to go into, mom's 80th birthday get-together is a MY house on Saturday.  Which means I need to clean the *entire* house between now and then.  Normally for company I only worry about the downstairs (and I make sure my bed it made.)  But my brother has never seen the house, which means that he'll get the tour.  Which means that I need to clean the upstairs too.  Last night we did the living room and dining room.  Tonight I'll do the library, which tends to be the downstairs dumping ground, so I'll need all night for it.  If Bob's dentist appointment doesn't knock him completely for a loop (which it may) I'm hoping he can work on the kitchen.

It'll be nice to finally show Bruce the place though.
