Laptop
After speaking to Aric, I feel a little bit better about my laptop purchase. I read him the specs, and he says it's a great machine for the money, and that in a laptop, bigger is better unless it weighs a ton. I told him about my weird privacy issues. He doesn't think that I would have any more privacy with a smaller computer. Also, I think he thinks I'm little crazy, which might be sorta true. I really doubt that I ever do anything interesting enough to worry about what people see over my shoulder. I'm no secret agent or anything.
I'm going to be hanging out with Aric this weekend for his birthday and will bring along the beastly computer. I think having his stamp of approval after actually looking at it will make me feel even better about it. He's the most computer-savvy friend I have and his opinion means a lot to me.
