long time running
I guess its been quite some time since I updated. Not a whole lot has gone on in my life thats been worth mentioning, or so I feel. Fall semester finished up okay, but it wasn't anything special. I do have a new appreciation for Early British Literature, and have fallen in love with Vicc Bobb as a prof. I swear you don't have to do any work in his classes and you can still get a B. I still need to focus super hard on my Lit classes if I'm going to graduate next spring.
Home life has been a nightmare recently. I finally asked Kate and Brian to move out in October, and they agreed saying they wanted to be out before the snow fell. OF course, that didn't happen. I asked them again a few weeks ago and Kate said end of January. A few days ago there were no signs of them getting ready to move so I asked them what day. I finally got a solid date out of them. They will be moving out on the 29th. This all has had Ali up in arms because she doesn't like them at all. Not that I blame her at times. She hasn't been able to be at the house because the basement flooded and it causes her asthma to flair up. Because of this she has been living with her BF for the last month, and he needless to say is wanting his own space. She was ready to start looking for Apartments for us to move into which I really wanted nothing to do with, but I understand where she's coming from.
Jan term has been good. I'm taking Asian American Lit. It's been challenging, but still very interesting. We've spent more time than I like watching movies, but that's part of Jan term. I'm also taking American Ballroom Dancing. That's been good and bad. I'm enjoying dancing everyday though, I've really missed it. The parts I don't care for are the odd random dances such as the shim-sham but I'm loving Lindy Hop and the Foxtrot. The class has a nice variety of dancing, but there are a few guys I wish I could avoid ever dancing with. This one kid Alex is horrible. It doesn't matter how much you try to help him with basic steps. He just doesn't get it. This other guy Matt though, it amazing to dance with. I'm taking the class with my friend Caleb and he's fun to dance with, but I've danced with him so long, that its hard to learn new stuff with him.
Well my comp is about to die, but that's a brief update. For you guys.
