Friends and Roommates
Just as a heads up this is probably going to be a major bitch session, but then again that's usually what most of my posts are. I'm gonna start with my friends cause that isn't really much, I'm just more or less frustrated with them. I've been hanging out with this particular group for the better part of 9 months now and they're really a great group of people, but lately I've been getting this feeling that the reason I'm at parties or movies with them is because "everyone will be there" and not so much that they actually want me there. So me being me, hasn't been going to things unless I'm invited, now this hasn't been a problem till recently when there have been a few events that I've found out about right before they start or after they've happened. Tonight is a prime example. I get home and I'm baking cookies for the guys I hang out with all the time and go to dinner with a lot as a thank you for letting me basically claim their room as my own, shortly after I start, my roommates get home and we talk and have a minor confrontation which is a whole matter unto itself. So then we play some guitar hero and they get up and say they're heading out for the night... now my roommates really have no social life aside from playing video games with the group and all, but I was kinda like whatever, and asked them were they were going, and they said they were going to campus...and I said oh, where on campus are you going? and then they said to the guy's room...so apparently tonight the group is getting together on campus in the guys room.... I was in the guys room tonight, and no one bothered to tell me. No one texted me, no one IMed me, no one called me, no one told me. I sure feel wanted...and this isn't the first time this has happend. towards the end of summer there was a few people who wanted to go cliff diving, but they cancled cause there wasn't enough interest... low and behold I was interested and no one called me!
