Here is my second netsuke, a baby turtle.

The colours didn't want to become dull, so, instead of being greyish, it is almost fluorescent green.
And the belly is a bit messy... But it's still the cutest turtle I've ever met:)

Strangely enough, my series of netsuke begins with a mouse. It's not that I'm particulalrly fond of them, rather, they leave me quite indifferent. They are almost finished now: shaped, cooked, painted and laquered, but...
