thoughts about tonights episode - under cut just to be sure
after looking at the previews - I had an idea about tonights ep - given Deans current lack of confidence in himself and his abilities - it looks like they are in an AU where they aren't hunters (don't know who they are etc) - but when the shit hits the fan, Dean reacts automatically and kicks ass... could the "AU" be a plan by the Angels (or the trickster???) to help him get back some confidence??? just a wild guess here but there was a lot of specualtion about how could/would Dean get back up to himself - and even if it doesn't totally get him there - the fact that he could fight and function on automatic when he didn't remember who he is might remind him of what he can still do and do well???
