On Vox: fail?
Ok so my goal of writing 300 words everyday had not happened, until day 3 of the year, but whatever. I have had a great weekend. I went to the barn yesterday for around 4 hours in weather under 12 degrees. Trance got new shoes and Finn remains sound. The vet comes out tomorrow afternoon to do a flexion, and if Finn stays sound it is BACK TO WORK! I can't wait to ride that horse again. He is really something special.
Last night when I got in I made homemade pasta, which was my first attempt but it was perfect. To go on it I made a cream sauce and then topped it with pan-fried soft shell crabs. It was a fucking delicious dinner. All those cook books I have been studying have paid off, I feel like I can make anything form scratch now. And it is really good. Go me!
I have literally done nothing today. No work. Drank a beer and watched a chick flick. Going to see a movie later. I really should be more productive but, alas, I reserve that for when I get back to work this week. School starts for me on the 13th. siiigghhhhh.
Mom comes in Thursday and we are going wedding dress shopping. Wish me luck!
