One of the new Admissions Counselors is crazy with a k. He always
listens to his music sans headphones whilst dancing. Today he
told me that he has his nipples pierced and then said he was kidding.
My nipples are pierced too.
Just kidding.
Webmail has become the bane of my existance. For some reason this
semester it's ridiculously slow (I've been waiting since before I
started writing this for it to open an email that I had been patiently
waiting for UNTIL NOW!). I'm a centimeter away from setting it up to
forward to my hotmail account. I'm trying to purge my life of
what's unneccesary and annoying, because God knows there are enough
annoying things already that you have no choice about.
I think I miss my hair. I guess it's better than missing my mom, or an exam, or a job interview, or a period.
Which doesn't bother me, because I finally got mine. Stupid
stress, driving away my days when I wanted to get them over with before
Joe's Big Wedding Adventure. Having a late period sucks, because
you never know when it's going to come. Because it will,
suddenly, bringing dehabilitating cramps on on the one day that you
don't have any drugs with you. Yes, friends, I have to survive
the first day of my period with no ibuprofen. And I'm pretty
sure, too, that they'll yell at me at work if I curl up in a feotal
position in the corner. Man!
The aforementioned Big Wedding Adventure is in 4 days, which is
fantastic, utterly
terrifying and stressful because of everything I have to finish before
I get on the plane to PN Thursday morning. I also am kicking
myself for not asking Abe to come with me. Here's my
list-o-things-to-do before I board the plane:
- Finish my discussion notes for "The Virgin Suicides" (SOCY 260)
- Bible study with Kate
- Go to 6 more classes
- Start "Le Misanthrope" (French 490)
- Start "Passed On" (Death and Dying)
- Stats homework for Tuesday and Thursday's classes
- Study for and take SOCY 260 exam
- Call what's-her-name, Millie, and Lauren
- Get ready for SOCY 202 test (first thing back on Mon. morning)
- Pack like a rat (which means moving stuff from Christy's, packing stuff at 6 Bull, and then moving stuff back to Christy's)
- Laundry?
- Watch the season premier of "Law & Order: SVU"
- RSA dinner meeting
- Pick up the package that Abe is apparently sending today
- Whatever outlining and reading that's due for 260 on Tuesday
- Sign time sheets and drop off/pick up paperwork at 40 Coming
And if there's more, I can't stand to think about it, because that
seems like way more than I can possibly get done in the next two and
half days.
Once again, sleep is sacrifieced at the alter of the almighty GRADE POINT AVERAGE.
