Our sad state
On a related note to my last post, I just went to Books A Million to purchase an awesome series or massive collection of the series, I'm not going into detail cause no one cares about that. Anyways, as I'm being checked out I look down and see a small like card sized book called Why I live in Alabama: 101 Kick Ass reasons to live in this state. I just smiled, No not because I thought that was funny or clever by any means. But because it just helped to prove how right I am. This also made me think that theres only 101 reasons to live in Alabama. That sucks. Thats like barely enough things to keep anyone entertained for a year. Then theres this other thought I have, Like in other states in other Books A Million stores at other counters. Theres gotta be like encyclopedia sized books next to registers entitled Why I don't live in Alabama: 1 Million and one Reasons why I choose to avoid that state. Lets not kid ourselves here. This state sucks. And to think that we can only think of 101 reasons to live here and put them in a small book just justifies that. We're either 49 or 50 in every poll about the quality of life in our state. Thats not something to be proud of. now heres a funny picture to get you to read this
