If anyone's reading this...

I really need to sleep. Yup.

In other news, recent developments in my life include:

I'll be leading a WOOLF trip next year. Class of oh-ten, watch out.
Williamstown, and more specifically a psychology lab here, will be graced by my presence this summer. This is officially an order for all of my friends out there to visit me this summer, sit around, play frisbee, and maybe sip some high quality brew.
The WUFO B-team I'm on is known as team "No Arms, No Legs, No Problem."
I am getting really fired up about cognitive science, math, LaTeX, clarinet, and A Cappella.
I am still a huge nerd.
Ruth has met my parents.
I've met Ruth's parents.
I spent a week in South Carolina with WUFO, where everyone got the "exploding purple shits." I didn't, but got the worst sore throat of my life immediately after leaving S.C.

I'm getting the intellectual/inquisitive itch again, after a long time without it. I think that now that I'm finally settled into this new life at school I'm able to sort of reevaluate some things, see things from a slightly broader perspective, which is really refreshing. For these last seven months I've basically just been rolling with the punches, trying to fit myself, my past, my old relationships with parents and friends, into this new world where I'm living essentially autonomously. This weekend is the prefrosh preview weekend, and some untold number of nascent versions of ourselves descended on the campus over the last 72 hours, which of course is a complete mind fuck. I mean, it's nothing like what next year's JA class is going through, seeing these strangely young people and thinking "these are going to be my frosh in a few months" but still not really feeling that much older then them. But still, this is the first real reminded that I/we am/are not going to be frosh anymore, that this chapter of our lives, the exciting first year from home, is drawing to a close. It's bittersweet, without a doubt; feelings of accomplishment and nostalgia and "I can't come back to this" all at once.

But I'm tired, and still have pages and pages of math to LaTeX for tomorrow...blech. I mean, yay! I LOVE MATH!
