Cue the obvious... maybe?

Mom loves entertainment shows like "Access Hollywood" and "Entertainment Tonight". Today, LeeAnne Rimes (sp?) was being all superior about her "high standards/morals" - you know, how she doesn't wear skimpy clothes in her videos/etc?

Now, don't get me wrong - I'm not saying she's wrong (though she did seem very smug, which made me sneer a little). I'm not saying that she should get skimpy wid'it. I'm just sayin' that there's nothing wrong with it either. If you're lucky enough to be born attractive and able to be made up (with make-up, hair, clothes, and a personal trainer) to be hot, consider living it up. You only live (at least in this physical form) once. Eventually, you lose it.

Anyway, my argument for young female 'pop' (country can fit into this) stars is this:

-If you want to have a career where you are respected from day one as a 'serious artist', go conservative. Your career may last longer.
-If you want to make lots of money, really quickly (but run the risk of having a short career and earning little/no respect as a 'serious artist')... feel free to go skimpy.
