Memorising an Ives script is like trying to break through the surface of a pool of thick honey. You really only breathe when it's over and then you try and figure out what just happened.
That said, I haven't had this much fun with a script in ages. I need to stop cracking up. Cracking up is bad. Bad. Playing it big is a strange relief in a way, since it doesn't feel like I'm overdoing it just yet. The script though, easy as it is to sense the beats, is a torture. Words, words, words indeed.
On the same note but not quite, I enjoyed today.
