kabhi kushi

Deleting contacts on Messenger and Facebook is highly satisfying.

Starting work again soon, which is fine. Which is good, especially since I can actually walk to my work place. Saves on travel costs, which though slightly cheaper at present, still eats surreptitiously at my pocket. I have also realised the abundance of notebooks in my possession, but I can't find the one that I want. I'm beginning to suspect that it's not in the house. Monday will see me attempt to get some money off various test preparation and school books acquired over the years at some secondhand bookstore. Good luck my already aching back. Farewell Herland, scourge of the brain undead. Yes indeed, this shall cover transport costs for a month.

On another note, the songs from Om Shanti Om are ridiculously addictive. Funny, they were almost annoying when I watched it last year. Have been on a movie spree, followed by a bollyfm spree. Which is where one starts laughing about big hoohahs over long films in the Western world of entertainment. Conclusion? Bollywood's market has a better attention span. So from Monday I've managed Paheli, K3G, K2H2, KANK, Billu, Swades, Taare Zameen Par, and multiple playing of Om Shanti music sections. Melodrama how I love thee. Though it's scary when I start being able to recognise the playback singers. I can't help the fact that Main Hoon Don and Dastaan-E sound similar! I demand a Bollywood marathon if an Indiana Jones one is refused. But nothing from before '95. I can't take the clothes/haircuts seriously. Seriously, the 90s was an extended eyesore. Maybe twenty years from now we'll say it looks 'so retro' and hence cool, but please, watching Aaron Carter's Crush on You MTV or that Mimic movie is enough to barf.

Funny how five months have passed. In four more... well. In four more the future starts. What's not to look forward to? You can't look back on what's still ahead (:

D, you so need to update, and you can't say 'back at you' about it, because we've ALL updated, and I on my blog too.
