scheduling
Friday after school Meredith and I went to the NHS meeting. They made it sound /really/ hard to get in. We both sort of freaked out because we didnt think we had enough community service or a 'diverse' background on the things that were required. But then, I suggested we could be the managers of the soccer teams to get the leadership requirement filled, so that's what we're gonna do. I said I would talk to Mr. Gordon about it on monday. Good thing I have him first hour, huh?

Back to this week:
Monday, Mr. Gordon wasnt in school because he had a family emergency. Someone died. We had this one sub who I had once before in middle school. We just did busy work. Quiz tomarrow.
Gov, we reviewed for our quiz. More of the people in my class being annoying and rude. Johanna-Laina was wearing a shirt that said "Life without music would Bb". Haha, band humor. xD
Chem we took notes and did classwork. Easy stuff, really. Ms. Okeefe reminded us we had a schedualing assembly 6th hour.
'Finished math homework at lunch. Quiz tomarrow.
We had a band test today. I didnt bother to take my instrument home and practice because the part was really easy. I got all the notes correct, but halfway through my playing test I forgot about the dynamics and for that reason I got an 89%. :(
In math we checked over our homework and then Ms. Hinchman gave us our review sheet for the quiz. Like always, when Anthony was passing it back to me, he held on so I would wrestle it from him. He ripped a little corner of it and I pretended to be mad so he would trade me worksheets with me. Then we kept on ripping off parts of it and writing notes on it. I think it went something like "You is a stalker", (because I found him on myspace, lol), and then I wrote on the back, "You is a iliterate", and then he wrote, "You is a dumdum". Now he wont stop calling me a dumdum because he thinks the word "dumdum" is hilarious. Jessica and I walked to 6th hour having quite a heated chat about our parties and them being the same theme. We actually got to the point of yelling in the hallway, it was funny. lol
At the sheduling assembly, I sat next to Mere and we circled a few things they told us to, but then I got all depressed because I really want to take this one class at the MBCC, but I just dont have enough hours in the day to take it! I almost considered quitting band, but then it worked out a little. People in the assembly were being very rude, though. God, I HATE rude people. I dont understand why people cant just sit down and keep their mouth's shut while a person who took the time to come and talk to us about our future is speaking. I was ready to kill, trust me.
At home I checked out the course description for the class at MBCC, and there are really 3 classes involved in what I want. The first 2 classes I pretty much know all about already, so is it possible for me to just take the highest level class instead? My dad is going to call the teacher and find out.
I forgot about my movie review paper. Ill do it tomarrow.
I got a lot of complements on my new sweater today. <3
Today:
I asked Mr. Gordon about the managing positions for Mere and I, and he said he has to consult the 2 other coaches first. So, here's hoping.
I spent pretty much the whole day thinking about scheduling.
On my way to Gov, Anthony saw me and called me a dumdum. The ch. 3 quiz was super easy, as always. One of the people in that class that Is always rude and obnoxious got caught cheating. sucka!
In chem we took notes. lots of notes. Ms. Okeefe also answered some more scheduling questions and classes about next year.
At lunch I finished my math review sheet.
In band we finished playing tests and then...played music, ya know? Its what we do.

In LA Ms. LoCascio gave us about 20 minutes to just talk. She didnt actually say so, but she was busy doing some things so we were allowed to. Meredith and I talked once more about sheduling. I think I got everything all settled out, but we'll see.

Band
Precalculus
Software II Wed (2 hour class at MBCC)
US History or World Civ (at MBCC).
^ I -really- want to take AP history, but I have two spend at least 3 hours at MBCC, so I have to take regular history or world civ over there. :(
As you can see, I dont think I will be able to take french 3,4 next year. I'll have to finish my 2 year college requirement senior year. But then im worried about the required speech class too. It is SO stupid that we have to take it. Im going to talk to my counselor to see if she can get me out of it. I dont have enough time to take it senior year, it is a stupid, easy, blow off class and I dont want colleges to see me taking that class senior year or they might reject me.
There is a youth affair meeting tomarrow at 1:00, so that means Ill be missing 6th hour. No reason to do my movie review today then, huh? xD I need to finish the posters for our meeting tomarrow too. *goes to do that now*
