decorations...
Yesterday around 3:00 I texted Jo and we decided to meet at Jon's house. Got there at 4:30 and we watched Tim and Jon play video games for a little, but then we all got into a very heated debate about giving clothes to the salvation army and then buying more (which is not the case. they just dont know anything, boys). We talked about going out to get something to eat for a very long time. I suggested something around Target, because then I could stop in and look for some stuff, but of course they refused. I finally managed to get everyone up, and we piled into Jon's car and drove to that mall area near his house (with Panera, Antonio's and Target). We couldnt really decide whether to go to Panera or Coney Island, but we walked into Panera, took some free samples, decided we didnt want to eat here, and went to Coney Island instead, lol. Tim ordered that flaming cheese stuff, but they didnt set it on fire so we could see :( Sarah got some soup, I got a grilled chicken sandwich, and then Jon and Jo shared a milkshake (awww, with 2 straws and everything!). I wanted to go to Starbucks, but yet again, to no avail. When we got back to Jon's house everyone flopped on the couch again but I wanted to watch a movie so I spent about 10 minutes trying to get the tv off of the video game mode (Jon thought it was funny and wouldnt tell me how to do it). Once I figured it out, I took a look at his vast collection of DVDs which consisted of Elf, Bohr's Model of the Atom, A Simpson Christmas, and 2 others which I have never heard of. What to choose, huh?
I flipped through channels though and found Titanic on, and it just started! Sarah, Joanna and I all wanted to watch it, but Tim and Jon are losers. So Jon changes the channel to mythbusters :( and then we watched the history channel. Jon is so stubborn. Unfortunatley not everyone shares his same love of the history channel. Tim wanted to watch hockey. Michigan lost, oh no. Mikey came over!
Sarah and Jo went to look on the computer for words to describe Jon. Patrick and Cunday came over and the boys played Super Smash Bros. Sarah and I watched Joanna make Jon a new background with the words she found to describe him. I went on Jon's computer for a little while and then it was time to leave. Mikey drove us home.
Today:
I got up around 8 and I did some graphic design for a site. Around 10 I noticed my parents getting ready to go somewhere. They needed to go to Sams Club to get a shelf for the downstairs. They said if we come they will take us to Fairlane Green to go shopping. We ate at Salarita's and I got a vanilla bean from Starbucks. Then we went to Party City!!! They had a whole section on our Hollywood theme, so we went crazy and bought tons of stuff for decorations. The good part was our dad knew the manager of the store so he gave us a major discount. All the stuff we bought only cost $53. :D yay! Im not going to tell you what we bought because I want you to be surprised when you walk in on the day of our party. But seriously, it is going to be ///AMAZING///. After that our parents dropped us off at Deb so we could look at dresses. We each tried on 3 of them, Sarah says I look really good in a halter dress. The dresses at Deb are actually pretty cheap too. The ones I tried on were $30-$35. So we might go back later. Our parents called us and told us they were in TJ Max so we walked over there and browsed. We were sad that they didnt have many things for sale today. We tried some things on, but Sarah only ended up buying a cute red cami, and then I bought this adorable zip-up sweater. Its reversible and really cool. It was $20 and I was reluctant to buy it because it was so much, but my Dad wanted me to, so he offered to pay for half, so I did. :) Im going to wear it tomarrow.
When we got home we all had to do some work. I single-handidly went outside and picked up the 9 months worth of dog poop outside from our dogs (even though Ben was supposed to help me). But then Ben had to help mom and Dad set up the shelf and take out garbage and stuff. I have to get in the shower and then im going to do my homework and go to bed. Seeya.
