Life is going good, well except for the fact that I currently hate differential equations, but eh that is what Mathematica is for. Fuck doing this shit by hand. Anyway, so I got to teach for the first time this past week. I really had a lot of fun. I have 3 sections of lab (3-9pm on Wednesday's) and two discussion sections. In lab this past week the students were just taking a diagnostic exam so I really didnt get to do much except homework which was nice since I think that I am now about 1 week ahead in classical mechanics. In discussion though I actually got to teach. I gave them a basic trig quiz just to see how much they recalled and then we did a few HW-like problems and then I gave them their weekly quiz which they get to work on in groups. You know this first year of graduate school is not nearly as hard as all of the upper year students and all of the professor were making it out to be. Yes I am working about 60hrs a week but since I enjoy what I do it's not too bad. Tonight Stephanie and I are going to a party hosted by one of the other physics people and then we and a few others (Werth included) are going to a stage play of Rocky Horror. Well back to work, this 10 week quarter system is great. If you get 2 weeks ahead you are simply golden!
Peace.
