Yuuri had never really liked all the fancy parties at first. All the dressing up and the complicated dances and the proper ways to greet people, it was just all too much shoved into one night.
He found his feelings for the parties start to change as feelings for a certain person changed as well. During the parties, everyone was busy dancing and mingling and that gave Yuuri some free time from Wolfram’s constant watchful eye. Which in turn gave him some more time to spend with Conrad. Yuuri was supposed to dance with people after all, and Conrad was a person. And maybe when they danced, their bodies brushed together a few more times than accidents would allow and maybe they danced together a few more times than needed, but it was a party and he could finally get away with it and he could finally find a reason to enjoy the parties.
