Maybe it's just me(which is likely) but when it says, It was him that he wanted to eclipse, just as he had been consumed by..., the second 'he' threw me off for a bit and I was all ADELBERT AND GUNTER, WUT?(OH, LOOK. ANOTHER PAIRING TO WRITE)

But it was good! I liked it! I like how Adelbert's distracted by Conrad's sexy. xD But who wouldn't be? I mean.. Younger Conrad... UNF.

Besides, I wanted it to tie in with canon-and Conrart and Adlebert do have a fight for the pendant...sometime in S2, right? And it sounds much better if you think there was UST history to go with it, doesn't it? Shuddup, it does. :P
