Seriously though, I wanted to have her fail at the 'traditional' women's role, it seemed an amusing reversal of roles to have Conrart be good at it instead of her. =)
I'm a believer in that too. As awesome and practical as she is, Anissina wouldn't have the experience to know how to handle babies or children (as fond as she is of Greta, I can't see the two playing tea party or shopping for clothes together!).
After all, even as a child she didn't behave as a normal child. I doubt many children could keep up with her. Thankfully, Gwen was always on hand and was probably her only true friend.
In my head, it wasn't so much the lack of experience that makes her bad at this, she's just inherently bad at it. :P I mean, being a woman doesn't automatically guarantee skill with all the 'women's jobs', I think. *shrugs*

Aw, I like the idea of that. *melts* And there's my G/A shipping preference, rearing its head. ;)
I have overies and panic when someone wants to hold a baby, or talk to someone under 13. I have no clue how to approach youngins and so far lack maternal instincts. I just know I'll be the type to adore my own and loath everyone else's brats. >.>
*gush* And with that said, I imagine the same can be said for his side. From the flashbacks, he appears to be an introvert and we all know he's no good at expressing his true feelings. So, I'd say Anissina was also his only true friend.
I loved watching them as children. Anissina knew Gwendal's heart so well, and what was needed to kick him into gear. And...Gwendal was strong enough to survive Anissina's experiments, to subject his body to torture...week after week...year after year. ^^0 Such things are important in a relationship, yes?

Heh, I know what you mean. Interaction with my cousins has led me to believe I can handle children when I can their parents to clean up the mess they made. ;)

It's the foundation of any strong relationship. XD
