She smiled as she turned the pages of the journal Gunter had handed over to her-Erhard von Wincott had been a meticulous man, every experiment he had ever conducted on Soushu and his puppets had been carefully recorded. It gladdened her to go through the notes that Erhard had made; this was a man after her own heart! Scientific, rational-and detail oriented, to boot.
Her interest in the man led her to research his line, and when she found that his great-great-great-grandaughter had married into the von Khrennikov line, she smiled to herself, but she wasn’t really surprised.
