Round 18 themes
Welcome to round 18 of kkm_challenge! Please read through our user information if you haven't already and then this post to get started and then begin submitting!
The Themes
Choose one-although you may combine if you want to make it extra challenging.
1) Authors and Artists: Backstory-Create your own fanon regarding any event, character, or place in the KKM universe.
2) Authors and Artists: Image- Write or draw something of any length or size based on the photo below the cut. You are not limited to the visible characters.
Image prompt examples
The following examples are various ways of approaching an image prompt. You are not limited to these examples! You can use any, all, or none of them. Be creative!
Authors
+ Write a scene between various characters leading up to the events you see or a scene taking place afterwards.
+ Describe an onlooker reacting to the depicted scene.
+ Convey the internal thoughts of one or more of those characters.
Artists
+ Illustrate other characters as if they had been included in the scene.
+ Draw a scene that might have happened before or after this one.
+ Do a study of the image as it exists using your own personal style to make it unique.
The Deadline
Sunday, August 31, 2008 at 9pm EST

- Follow all of the rules.
- There is no limitation on the number of items you may submit this round, but you must submit each piece separately.
- You may submit items from any or all of the themes. You may even combine the themes where appropriate.
- Comment on this post if you have any questions on this particular round. General questions can be submitted here.
