I had a riding lesson scheduled for this morning, but when I decided to sleep through my prep time, I called to let whoever was at the stable know. Turned out they were battening down for a possible storm and the owner cried off. But she promised to make the next lesson she taught a trail ride, so that's cool.

I spent the morning doing crafty things and getting my head on straight. I spend the early afternoon running chores. First I went to the bank, then I hit a fabric store and got a good discount on one last item. From there I went to the stable to pay my monthly dues and schedule lessons for next month. After that, Walmart for more last minute supplies. I tried to top off the gas in my car but there was an insane pack of cars waiting in line. Apparently, the world is ending tomorrow. Sadly, I had one more place to go to find rivets.

I finally got home and went back to crafty things. What's been interesting about these last two weeks is the number of people who have poked a head around to remark in wonder over the various things I've engineered and fabricated. I guess some of them are suddenly realizing that, yes, I'm an actual artist, that I have some hardcore skillz. It's fun using them, at any rate.

Last, I packed and Keith loaded my car. It might be raining in the morning, but I'll be driving away from it. He'll catch up with me on Thursday in Atlanta.
