Work:
Flipping the communities to dodge parked cars continues to be a raging success in that I achieved a solid week of eight hour days when left to my own authority. I have formally edited my route accordingly. Hopefully, Supe will have the good sense to sign off on my changes.
Fandom:
Reminder to self: You're supposed to edit that fic for that person, m'kay?
Oh yeah.
Otherwise, I'll be over here coming up with creative uses for floating wheel chairs, berets and small, cute, telepathic animals.
Skiing:
Also known as hurtling yourself down the side of a mountain. We went to Jack Frost again last weekend. While the hotel we tried was less than awesome compared to the previous one, Keith consented to ski with me this time. While this predictably resulted in being separated on the slope, it's my understanding he had fun. The most awesome thing I saw? The parapalegic skier, at least, judging by the under-developed, atrophied legs strapped into the bobsled contraption with hand-skis. Either way, super-awesome.
Today, I went to Liberty Mountain which isn't nearly as interesting as Jack Frost, but way closer. Along the way I found a used sport supply store and bought myself one of those new-fangled skiing contraptions called a helmet. So if I kill myself it won't be because my brains are splattered all over a tree or light post. I tried to take a video for you guys but the camera eye kept pointing too far down. On the upside, I discovered I need to work on keeping my skis tighter together, and proceeded to do so. I also practiced jumping on the terrain trail.
