Tuesday:
I don't actually remember Tuesday beyond the ten hours of work.
Wednesday:
Was my day off and I used it productively. First, I used part of my annual uniform allotment to add to my work wardrobe. After lounging around and having breakfast, I went out for some retail therapy. I price-checked some headlight bulbs and it looks like they're significantly cheaper online (big surprise). Then I went to walmart and picked up some sale fabric. From there I tried to go to Cycle World but apparently they're closed on Wednesdays now. So I came back and picked up some fruits and vegetables at the All Green (former El Grande).
I spent the afternoon cooking a full dress corned beef dinner and some minestrone soup. In between that, I watched the pilot episode of Ladies No. 1 Detective Agency, which seems really interesting.
Then I went up to the dojo to loosely participate in the escrima class. Turns out that the sensei is also a licensed fibro massage therapist. This is mostly just lol to me, though it helps it isn't just a vague concept to him. There would be a lot of stuff to learn, but I seemed to pick up on it real quick, enough to surprise him several times. After that, I changed into my proper uniform and attended the aikido class.
Thursday:
That would be today. We were smacked by political fliers and ballots which produced a 9.5 hour day for me because I received casing assistance, but a longer day for many others. Comparatively speaking, it was easier than most days because I had time to take two short breaks.
After work, I went up to the city, though I wasn't holding my breath. Bill Clinton held a rally today a few blocks from the dojo so I didn't expect to find parking, but I did. Class was tiny and I was absolute fail at the technique set we did, but that was okay. I exercised and worked off some stress.
