(no subject)
Well, yesterday was wedding dress shopping day. I had been hoping to just be able to buy something online but my BFF and my brother really, really wanted the experience of me trying stuff on. Well, the day had it's good points (the lovely old women at the bridal shops telling me everytime I put something on how great my figure was and how beautiful I look - really does improve one's self-esteem whether they meant it or not). But the day also had it's lesser points - if I heard one more time "you have to look like a bride, this only happens once" I was gonna gag - I mean, people will know I'm the bride, I'll be the only girl standing up there saying vows to my man - so let me try on my non-traditional preferences and back. off. Anywho, I have narrowed it down to 2 choices...now to decide whether to stay within the small budget I set for myself or go slightly over...feel free to weigh in with suggestions, worldly wisdom, etc.
And while I was away squeezing myself into satin and chiffon all day, a 6th season of SPN is announced. I'm not sure how I feel about a 6th season, but I know I am excited about another year of fic based on the 6th season!!
Lastly, while I was waiting to get picked up for my dress adventure - I got to watch Buffy!!! I haven't seen it in so loooong - hi Buffy and friends!!! Oh, the good old days of the merry old-band of evil-fighters led by a relatively smart chick. nice.
