Starting again
OK... so it's been over three months since my last entry! I am going to try and be a bit better now. So much has happened over the last three months and it would have been interesting to have a record of that. However, interesting time = no time to write. Now... boring time = lots of time to write!!
Anyway, having finished my Masters in September, I went back to London. Stayed there 2 weeks before coming back to Oxford! Am doing 4 weeks of research work for one of my lecturers and then after that I have to get a proper job - not good!!
Oxford is kinda strange without all my old friends around. Am making the most of it though. Friday I went out with all the new kids on my cousre! They seem like a good sociable bunch if a little keen - the reason I met up with them was cos they wanted advice on dissertations - it's only week 3?!?!!?!?
Then last night, I went to the Teddy Hall MCR Halloween Party. Now last year that was soooooooooo much fun. Loads of people got dressed up (and if I knew how to either do a link to someone else's page or add photos you could see for yourself!! - if someone could tell me i'd really appreciate it - you know who you are!!!). However, this year.... I turn up an hour and a half late thinking the party will be really swinging BUT there were 6 people in the MCR and ALL of them were people that I knew from last year. Now it was nice that I knew everyone but a bit disappointing that there was no-one new there - where are they all!!? A couple of people did turn up later but still.... they couldn't GIVE the alcohol away!!
After this I went to the MCR Bop at Magdalen with Mike (a guy on my course who is also still in Oxford), his three crazzee Greek housemates and their even crazier Greek friends!!. The Magdalen Bop was heavinnnnng and it kinda made up for the lame Teddy Hall "party"!!
So... that is all for now. Am gonna try and be better at keeping this going but can't promise anything - my life really isn't that exciting right now!!
