Ok, I'm breaking my friends-only thing briefly, as I just wanted to say that my friend Kitty has to be the nicest person ever. I finally realised this afternoon (after spending some time making protests of the "I'll be fine" nature) that I really needed a friend tomorrow/later today, so sent her a text message asking if she's free to meet up in the evening, and not only had she
a) Realised that her girlie support would be needed,
and
b) Understood also that I wouldn't realise this myself until the last minute,
but also
c) Arranged to have the whole day off work!
So I'm posting this publicly as she doesn't have a lj, but reads occasionally, and just wanted to say "Thanks, honey - you're a star!"
