Reading your comment I felt really touched (because in some way you're my senpai in writing and especially bc it was coming from you) and it probably means that I have been able to improve my expressive abilities at least a bit in the mean time :")
I was aware of the risk I put my fanfic in by using such a difficult and sensitive topic but it was something I felt very passionate about and therefore really wanted to finish no matter what. It took me endless nights of research and fretting over all sorts of details because I was so nervous submitting this fanfic that, as you say yourself, is probably very different compared to other fanfics written these days. I'm glad that you found it believable and realistic.
Lately I've come across another interview by Jin where he stated he couldn't sleep for almost two weeks because he had been so troubled and worried about people back home. Also, Jin himself stated in a magazine that he would've prefered returning back to Japan but then decided it would be useless, so he wanted to give his best at his job. A lot of people must have felt helpless in those days.

However, I liked how Kame's outburst kind of resembled the earthquake itself. ♥
