(no subject)
Connor, Farris and I just went to an all you can eat chinese food buffet for lunch. The Bamboo Garden. They won an award for excellence in quality in 1976. Yes, you read that correctly. The place was decent, but that sign turned me off a bit, mostly because it's STILL ON THE WALL.
The company was definitely worth it however as Connor and Farris told me wonderful stories of Oliver Pauk falling. One was about dancing on a table in Montreal and falling mightily onto his face. One was when he was trying to catch a fly ball, lost it in the sun, it smacked him in the face, he thought to himself... this cracks me up... "Oh no Oliver! Don't fall down!" and then he goes down like a spanked dick. The last was in Mexico on the cruise, he falls off the boat and Connor asks "Excuse me, Mr. Mexican? My friend fell off the boat, could we maybe turn around and get him?"
