More beach!!!
Looks like another beach vacation is coming up. The week before Thanksgiving, Maryann and I plan to go to Playa del Carmen, a little beach town in Riviera Maya (just south of Cancun.) We got a good deal on an all-inclusive package; also, we'll stay at in a very nice hotel, Riu Playacar. I might need to brush up on my Spanish (although I am sure everyone there speaks English, and probably will insist on speaking English to gringos like us.)
Another trip is coming up tomorrow. I will spend the next week in Redmond, Washington, attending a week-long training course offered by Microsoft. My hotel there is Marriott. I am looking forward to seeing my brother, as well as some colleagues whom I don't see often. It is going to be a treat. I am going to spend the weekend there, too.
