i've been waiting for today since the first week of last october. it's been six months since i was last able to watch those beloved under-achievers in red, white, and blue. but today, the season begins anew. after spending over three hundred million dollars on players over the off-season, the cubs have revamped and rededicated themselves (this is the hope of chicagoans). time will tell.
