so i ran the la salle bank shamrock shuffle today. it wound through eight kilometers of chicago's loop, crossed various parts of the river four times, and finished on columbus drive. there were thirty-two thousand other runners. and i placed fairly well, i think. i finished 5909th out of those 32,000, and 393rd in my division of 942 runners. my time was 43:51. here's to running.
