word limits suck
well, the good news is i finally started writing my part of the january ptterpr0nprmpts story that i am co-writing with clairvoyant12 . the bad news is, of course, i am over the word limit for my part already and i'm not done yet. it would be easy enough to cut the 100+ words i am over if i actually had everything in there that needs to be in there. but it isn't really finished yet, and therein lies the rub. oh well. tomorrow i'll try to tighten it up where i can before i attempt to finish it.
other than that, i did not do much today. i still have this stupid cough from this stupid cold, and it was quite annoying last night. i'm blaming my long afternoon nap on that - i was reading, and suddenly my eyes refused to stay open and i had to go to sleep. which, interestingly, never happens at 3am when i am reading, but apparently my crazy body thinks 3pm is a much better time to sleep than the middle of the night. *sigh*
in other news, i got the karelia!scarf that i bought at the tpp auction today. the colors are just as in the picture, which makes me happy. and it is making me want to experiment with painting on silk. looks like it could be fun.
