1369/19514 i'm happy i wrote 1000+, though i'm still roughly 2500 behind on my revised, less ambitious goal of 30000 words. hm. well, if i revise down to 20000, that one i'm pretty sure i can make. lol.
today i had to go to the post office to mail things. afterwards i stopped at lestat's, a very cool local coffee house. i did not bring the laptop as i did not intend to write and didn't really want to carry it there and back since i was walking, but i meant to bring a notebook in case any ideas came to me. of course, i forgot the notebook, but the ideas, they did come, so i scribbled them onto an envelope i had in my purse. i wrote very tiny just in case i had too many to fit on one envelope, and i covered just about one side of it. i guess i see how writing at a cafe could work well, given i had quite a few insights in the brief time i was there.
came home and worked on the living room clutter. made some headway, and now i will shove some stuff back into a box and that box into a corner for the time being, because it's late and i'm tired, and giddyup arrives tomorrow and i need a space where the blow up mattress can fit.
i probably will be a bit scarce until sunday, so happy thanksgiving to all my friends who celebrate. *hugs* *hugs* *hugs*
