nano day #21

931/18145  after a few days of no writing to speak of, i managed nearly 1000 words today, so yay!  thanks for the writing vibes, melenka , i think they helped, and i still have a few left for tomorrow.  :D  and yeah, i decided the grocery outing worked so well that today i sent her to the laundromat.  *giggles*

i might have written more today had i started earlier, but i had also not managed much in the apartment the past few days, so today i focused on the dining room and managed to tidy it up pretty well.  the dining room table has in the past been a holding area for lots o'papers and things that i didn't know what to do with.  and then my cat occasionally decides to 'help' me by jumping up and knocking things to the floor.  so today was spent first clearing the table of absolutely everything except things that are actually pending that i need to take an action on.  and then i dealt with the pile in the corner of the floor.  there was also stuff like the jackets and tote bags and such that i tend to hang on the backs of the chairs.  ahem.  so that was all dealt with.  i did a bunch of other stuff today, too, but that was the main clutter-clearing project.  i did not mop the floor - tomorrow is another day, and i did want to get some writing in this evening.

tomorrow i have to focus on the living room to get that cleared a bit before giddyup arrives on tuesday.  at the moment, it would be a challenge to fit the full-sized blow up mattress on the living room floor - it's not a large room and there are boxes and things that i've not yet managed to finish sorting sitting in the middle of the floor.

and all i really want to do is run downtown and watch the harry potter movie again.  *sigh*

oh!  in the process of clearing, i found a cd of some songs that i once cowrote and recorded with giddyup. it's the perfect antidote for those time when i feel a little bored with myself.  *giggles*

*hugs*
