It's a school day, albeit a short one-I will be home by 6pm.
I have the evening to myself, since Matt is in South Park intent on remodeling the kitchen in my absence. He is replacing our 1970s kitchen cabinets with the original 1940s cabinets that are in the garage. Next, replacing that ghastly floor!
Theo will be with his dad and sister tonight, per usual.
Yesterday was an utter disaster. It took me AN HOUR to find parking at 5th and Marian. I had to resort to the parking garage: $8.00 for an hour. I step out of the car and niagra falls occurs in blood...miss heavy bleeder even with super super tampon in place. I walk like a duck to Matt's office and find a restroom and rectify the situation. We walk to the food court and niagra falls happens once again. I say "fuck it" and continue eating, thankful that I am wearing black slacks and a long coat. There is no bathroom this time. I sit there and eat, cursing my hormones, uterus, the whole goddamn thing. The beauty of it was that my day wasn't done yet and I still had to go to Seattle Central to pick up a test and turn in homework.
I want to make an appointment to talk out getting my uterus lasered the fuck out so I can live a normal life. The above scenario happens at least once a month. In fact, I have talked to doctors about a D and C, and all I get is "try this birth control pill/patch/IUD", which I DO NOT want to use/take. I refuse to take hormones unless absolutely necessary...like, if my very life depended on it...which it wouldn't. I need to find a doctor that will not push these things on me, listen to my wants and needs, and will ok this procedure. With the type of insurance I have (low income), it's doubtful because of cost. It is cheaper for them to throw pills at someone and hope for the best, because taking birth control pills does decrease bleeding...as well as increase your odds for scary shit like heart attack, stroke and blood clots. When I did use the patch 2 years ago to control my bleeding, I bled every day for 3 months. That was helpful.
