Catwoman didn't think it was going to work out, but since she was one of the people always telling Batman he had to allow others to help him and he had actually accepted her offer of help, she couldn't back down now. They had tried working together before and it had never been a successful endeavor. It especially wouldn't be this time since they had begun to sleep together again.
She really thought she would have some trouble toning down the flirting and innuendos because she had become so used to that being the extent of their encounters, but it had been he who on two occasions had become distracted while ogling her. She had to take down a thug aiming a machine gun at his head and also stopped a ninja from plunging a sword into his abdomen. She didn't remind him that she saved his life because she understood that under that cool facade, he was just a man who had to get used to working with his girlfriend. So, she helped him with his nightly patrol of Gotham and still kept an eye on the East End.
He spent every night at her place and that was her favorite part of their new arrangement.
