What I've done so far...
Soooo, you (being a hypothetical you, I have no idea if anyone actually reads this) are probably wondering what I've actually done so far, now that I'm just sorta sitting about.
I've done some serious pattern drafting!
I made this coat pattern from scratch based on staring at countless screen shots of David Tennant (a task I undertook with immense pleasure). First I made possibly one of the funniest mock ups ever, that I really should have gotten a picture of, then I fiddled with it and tore it pieces and used those as the pattern pieces.
This is the end result:
By the way, welcome to my room at my Momma's house. Yes, I was watching Serenity.
So I'm thinking since spring break is next week and I'm gonna be visiting my sister Lizzy in New Jersey, I can use her awesomeness to my advantage and take the fabric and pattern with me and get cracking. So expect some progress then!

Which do you think I should wear to San Japan?
