Sandra Bullock as a hick? You know, it actually kinda works... Good for people helping people! Movies based on true stories are pretty cool when they have a happy ending.

You know, I never realized how big Scarlett Johansson's lips were. Was this movie based on a true story? Because if they came up with this by just looking at the painting, then kudos to them. Very interesting. I love Robert Downey Jr. in anything. I also happen to be drawn to movies about music (like August Rush - AWESOME movie). This movie felt long, and is long (117 mins) but it was considerably entertaining. It didn't turn out like I expected at all either. Most of the music movies have the same chiches, but not this one.
