"Rule number 2, until you're emotionally stable-enter no store!"

*sigh* It's really snotting out! It's cold and the raindrops are huge and they just cling to you. Somebody sneezed up there and it's landing on everything! *sigh* Makes for a very gloomy Friday. And updating Corporate Minute Books doesn't help much either...oy, I'd rather watch paint dry...or peel, or whatever the most boring thing on the planet would be. But it's crucial and it has to be done...and I'm the one to do it. And I'd better stop myself now or I'll get all preachy about the responsibilities and absolute necessity of a secretary, or assistant if you will. Don't know if anyone else realises it but secretaries are very valuable...and their jobs are not to be mocked. Though I complain most of the time about how much work I do (or don't do if it gets too intimidating) it is still important work. So if you're thinking in your head at any given time in your life 'oh it's gotta be so easy being a secretary' or 'I don't want to end up working as a stupid secretary all my life' please think again, because some secretary, someday will help you out immensely and it'll make you feel really stupid when you realise the work he or she had to do on your behalf. I did go to college, I do have a diploma, I did earn a job!!!! My job is no less important than any other job on the planet. It pays my bills, it keeps a roof over my head and I do it well. *huffs a sigh*

Well, will you look at that, I did manage to get all preachy...it must be the weather I can see out the window beside my huge stack of files.

Anyway, hung out with Ray last night and just laid around like vegetables! It was nice. Watched The O.C. and there's a new Asshole in town! And it's not Julie Cooper-Nichol...nor Jimmy Cooper (well he is seedy but hey, come on)...it's the crusty new Dean at Harbour! What is this, 'Animal House'? *shakes head* And just let me say....I LOVE SUMMER! She rocks!

*ahem* The good news is that Ray has Saturday off, and he asked me if I wanted to go to our home-away-from-home....SQUARE ONE! Woo!! Yay I can't wait! Lots of cool stuff at Square One and he said we could stop at Oakville Place as well to check out the H&M that they have there since the last time I went to the one in Toronto, I had a massive migraine and it was making me really not like shopping that day! unfortunately. So, I'm going to hit H&M like a mad-woman...and maybe even splurge on a nice little sumpin-sumpin at Banana Republic at Square One...we'll see how melancholy I am tomorrow and that should determine my splurging limit.

But tonight, will probably consist of more videogames, watching LOST or The O.C. on DVD or....if the little package slip that was in the mailbox is any indication...I will be turning Japanese tonight after hours of Inu Yasha!!! Woo!

Have come to the realisation, that all one needs in life is someone to share it with, and a handful of very close friends who care to keep you close.

*must be having epileptic fits of sentimentality today*
