"Oh my God I can't believe you don't shut up!"
LOL, and yes, I'd be referring to myself in that quote! I'm gonna put this behind a cut because I've got a whole lotta little nothings...and some somethings to yammer on about and I don't want to take up room on anyone's f-lists! :)
Last night was okay, after giving notice though when I went into work, all the other secretaries knew already! *facepalm* Sigh, I thought they'd give it at least one day's grace but hey...my supervisor is a little loud at times. But my one good friend who actually trained me said "I didn't think you'd last this long." what with the two jobs and all. So all is well in that aspect and probably going to go out for one last hoorah before I'm gone for good.
However, as soon as I started my shift, the two agents who really irk me decided to be a pain in my ass....and every moron in the city decided to phone me, all at the same time! I was being punished I tell you! The rest of the night though went off without incident so I just sat there and listened to my iPod and surfed the net for a while. All the work had been done and I was thinking 'you know I could be doing this at home'. Meh...soon will be.
Had a fun night when I got home though, Ray and I played videogames for a while and then watched this claymation show on the Comedy network called "The Other Coast". It's like a spoof of Entertainment Tonight...but they had this one skit called "Dogstars" and the one character was like "We go now to a disclaimer from Keanu Reeves who is the bass player of the band 'Dogstar'." I was dying, killing myself laughing!!! They were very smart to have picked up on his band...although they had him in his oft made fun of persona as the dumb surfer guy and saying 'whoa' a whole lot and the claymation version was quite scary!!! I really hope he wasn't watching TV at the same time...I think I'd be frightened to see myself done up in clay! But I was laughing the whole fucking night! And then I heard Ray laughing at another point and it was the commercial for 'Gladiator' on TBS...went like this:
Announcer: If your parents named you Maximus Decimus Meridius...
Maximus: I'm Maximus Decimus Meridius
A: You'd be pretty ticked off too! (proceeds to date and time)
M: I will have my vengeance in this life or the next!
Wicked funny!!! lol
Stayed in bed today till about 10 after 8am...really didn't feel like getting out of bed, it was unusually comfortable this morning, and so was Ray. Quite cuddly and didn't want me to get out of bed, so I stayed!
But eventually....I got to work and was just reading through my f-list and went to keanu_daily like I always do....gee I wonder why? And there's a great picture from Tuesday night's premiere of 'Thumbsucker' in Toronto! The mod of the community mirareeves was there and she was so happy it made me all smiley for all of yesterday! Walking around with a glow on my face just thinking how close he is to where I am right now. And then this morning....the girl whose hand he's shaking in the picture just realized that it was her hand! XD So so lucky! Lucky duckies!!! But if I was there...I would not have had any kind of courage and I would have just stared on in bewildered awe! If 'the Bean' (winks...lola_barrister knows who I mean) were there she'd be elbowing her way through and then take me by the shoulders and just shove me in front of him! I could so see it! lol She's a stalkerazzi that one! But she's got the luck of running into celebs everywhere she goes....she saw Ke right in front of his house in LA for cryin outside!! LOL, anyway...so if anybody saw me all glowy yesterday, it was because I had Keanu daydreams running through my head and .... (yes it's pathetic I know) just scanning the cars that were parked and keeping my eyes wide open. But, I mean who in their right mind would come here? I don't even want to live here! XD Anyway, was still all glowy for Mira! lol
So now I'm at work, we've got 4 closings today so I'll be walking around...but when I get home tonight...it'll probably be videogames and pasta with da boy until THE O.C.!!!! WOOOOOOOOOT!!! I can't really express how much I love that show....well, maybe I can, being self-absorbed of course my favourite character would be the male version of me! And he himself is quite self absorbed. Yes, I am the female Seth Cohen, self-absorbed, neurotic, dorky, nervous...and when in doubt, always crack a joke.
And being self-absorbed...I've got this song in my head. Yeah, it's a James song and yeah, it's called "Katie"....yeah, spelled wrong and stuff but, I can't get the damn thing out of my head, it just keeps looping! Arrrgh!
