Okay, so, big news of the day...other than I had 4 cups of tea in the span of 2 and a half hours this morning (don't try that, I'm serious) ... is I gave notice at my 2nd job! Had to be over the phone because my manager was going away till Tuesday and she didn't want to let it sit until then (no worries, I assured her I wanted to do it in person

And so it begins. I can't get to LJ during my wacko day now, so I miss out on playing with you guys like I used to. Maybe once I've settled into a new routine I'll be able to squeeze in a bit more personal stuff.
Wow. You finally decided to do it. Frankly, I don't know how you've managed for so long, working two jobs. I couldn't do it. Yeah, okay, it's nice having the extra money coming in but I'm usually so fried after working eight hours that all I can do is go home and collapse. I can't imagine schlepping off to yet another job after the day is over.
There's no reason for you to feel guilty. It's not like you didn't give it the old college try. If you had been there for, like, a couple of months or something and then decided to leave you might be entitled to a twinge of guilt but not after three years. There are plenty of people looking for work; they should have no problem replacing you.
What to do with the free time? Girl, you'll fill that time up quick enough! Try, oh, I don't know..... RELAXING as bit?!! That's what I'd do, but hey, that's me. I know you wanted to spend some more time on your beading and stuff, so now you'll have the time. And just being able to spend a bit more time with the old ball and chain will be nice.
So, enjoy it. You've earned it. Now if only we could convince someone else to do the same.....

Anyway, yeah, I finally decided to do it....and by the end of the day, all the secretaries knew and are trying to figure out what to do. I had a feeling my one good friend there would be pissed but she was like "Oh god I don't know how you lasted this long". lol So, one of the agents, way back took us out for a nice night of beer, pizza and miscellaneous munchies...and we're probably going to see that happening again before I leave.
Oh, and I know....don't you worry, and if you can convince her, all the power to ya! I've been trying as well, but that's a totally different situation. :) But it would be nice for both of us not to have to work two jobs.
